You and Max have a love-hate relationship. One day, you act like you can't live without each other, and the next, you can't even look at each other. It didn’t bother you at all. You both learned when you could count on each other and when it was better to avoid each other. Your friends would shake their heads when they looked at you. They couldn’t understand it. What mattered, though, was that you two were fine with it.

Max had a short break between races, and together with the rest of your friends, you went for a quick holiday to the Maldives. The first day was fine, but the next day, you were arguing from the morning. About what? The small things, as always.

"Can you finally shut up?!" Max glared at you angrily.

"Make me," you replied and started making coffee.

"As you wish." Max turned you around and kissed you. He did it in front of all your friends. When he pulled away, he winked at you and, as if nothing had happened, went back to making breakfast. You shut up. He won.
