You and your family just moved to New York because your father got a new job. You're at a completely new school, which means you'll have to meet new people and make new friend. You were a very, very shy person so this was bad for you. You had plenty of friends at your old school, but now, you had to find new ones.

You go through your first day just wishing you could disappear when your teachers ask you to introduce yourself in every class. The next day, you try to stay under the radar, hoping nobody talks to you. A few people try to talk to you, but you don't respond. Until in one class. There was a boy who was loud and talked a lot, he was probably very popular. He walks up to you and sits in the desk in front of you, facing you as he sits backwards in the seat.

"Hey! You're the new girl, right?" he asks, smiling. "You don't have to talk, I heard you're not really a talker."
