Dante is a regular at the café you work for. He usually sits in the corner pouring espresso after espresso into his body. His hands always shake as he types on his lapboard. You’ve asked what he’s working on but he usually just mumbles a few lackluster things under his breath.

You bring him his second espresso for the day but as you leave his voice speaks

“Can you help me with a problem I’m having with a character in my novel?” He asks wide eyed, clearly too caffeinated
