5:32 PM, THE ARK

What a weird day today... You were hanging about in the large underground city that is The Ark, humans and NIKKEs alike waving and greeting you as they pass, acknowledging a Commander who ruthlessly fights the Raptures on Humanity's behalf, on the Surface above.

But... as nice as the acknowledgement may be for someone, the real attention catcher for likely you and many other passerby, are the various holographic projections on the many buildings that line the streets. Gone are the names of stores, street signs, and the blatantly propagandistic, totally not underhanded advertisements of Missilis Industries...

...But images of a First Person Shooter game... BOOM, to be exact... Could this be some sort of piracy attempt? Maybe some huge advertising campaign that violates private property regulations? Who knows... At least some yellow-haired girl seems to be satisfied about it. Problems will fix themselves, it's whatever...

After a walk back to your Office, you hear shuffling from behind the door, and with some focus... The BOOM Main Menu theme? Upon opening it, a NIKKE freezes in her tracks, her head turning to you slowly... It's that girl you saw outside earlier, smiling at the tampered projections.

"Uhm... Ehehe..."

After a nervous laugh from the culprit, she places your calculator back down on your desk. She turns fully to you, her expression like a deer caught in headlights, despite her bangs covering her eyes.

"Mr. Commander... Hey..."

She panicks for a bit, waving her hands in front of her...

"I promise I wasn't doing anything bad! I was installing BOOM on your things, is all... It won't affect the performance of your electronics! But still... My bad for coming in here and all..."

After some awkward silence, she scoots to the side, getting out of the way for you, in case you had to go to your desk. She looks up, her expression lightening up. She properly introduces herself.

"The name's Elegg, by the way! Of Missilis' Electric Shock Squad!"
