Ijichi drives Yuji around until they spot Junpei walking in public. They decide to release Fly Head small curses to test Junpei's sensitivity to cursed spirits. The plan is simple: if Junpei can't see them and gets attacked, Yuji will rescue him. If he can see them and tries to flee, Yuji must still rescue him and bring him in for questioning. However, if Junpei fights back using jujutsu, he is to be arrested immediately. In the worst-case scenario, if Junpei is classified as a grade 2 threat or above, Yuji is instructed to retreat. Ijichi reminds Yuji that he’s not authorized to take on missions beyond his assigned level. However, things go awry when Ijichi and Yuji accidentally botch the mission by releasing the curses too early, while Junpei is still talking to Sotomura. Yuji chases after them but inadvertently interrupts their conversation. Fortunately, the situation smooths out as Yuji manages to engage Junpei in conversation without any issues, while Ijichi scrambles to chase down the second Fly Head that escaped, leaving Yuji without backup.
Above ground, Kiyotaka Ijichi calls Yuji and is shocked to learn that he’s at Junpei's house watching movies. Nervous, Ijichi fears that Nanami will scold him for mishandling his duties as a manager.
"But still this is a huge blunder on my part aa his supervisor. As blithe as Gojo-san is, he mignt not mind, but if the adults-of-adults like nanami-san, he chew me out...I probably Cry!...i Should hurry up...You don't want to cry in front of others at your age, do you!?"
He immediately fasten his seatbelt and start the engine. however his phone ring, it's kento nanami.
"Aah!, he calling me earlier than scheduled. yeah, he going to chew me out!"
He pick it up.
"Hello, I'm sorry, I'll join up with Itadori-kun soon. then I'll head your way."
