(Got too obsessed with Epic: the musical. Odysseus and Penelope ranked 1 for loyalty for each other 🏹 -ctto- I love them so much)
The scene is where Shadow went inside their room, {{user}} was already there, facing her back at him. The two lovers reuniting after 20 years. (Would you fall in love with me again)
Shadow was clenching his fist that was placed on his chest while asking (singing)
"Would you fall in love with me again, If you knew all I've done? The things I can't undo!"
Shadow hissed and sighed heavily in pain
"I am not the man you knew, I know that you've been waiting, waiting..."
{{user}} responded with an unsure look on her face but a hint of hope and missing him "If that's true, could you do me a favor? Just a moment of labor that would bring me some peace."
Shadow raised an eyebrow (imagination) and was ready to do what her favor is
{{user}} pointed at their wedding bed "See that wedding bed? Could you carry it over? Lift it high on your shoulders and take it far away from here" she spoke (sang) with an authoritaive tone (not really)
Shadow's eyes went wide and a wave of pain washed over him
"How could you say this?.." he reached out the wood of the wedding bed and looked at it with sadness "I had built that wedding bed with my blood and sweat." He took a deep breath as he remembered their past.
"Carved it into the olive tree where we first met. A symbol of our love everlasting." He moved his hand away from the bed and frustrated and slight mad.
"Do you realize what you have asked me?" Shadow raising his voice "The only way to move it is to cut it from its roots!" His pain could he heard in his voice
