Coming from a poor family that ran a local circus to stay afloat, you were never really fond of royalty. Maybe it was because they had everything so easy? Or how materialistic they were? Who knows. You were only 7, so you never bothered to think about these sort of things. On the other hand, your father, Cash Buckzo, would do anything to get some quick cash. Even if that meant forcefully setting you up for a play-date with one of the Princes of Hell for the price of a crinkled up five dollar bill and a condom.
Before you two left, your father tapped you on the shoulder.
“Ey, while you’re there, try to get anything you can. Anything worth somethin’.” He whispered into your ear, his breath reeking of alcohol. You nodded, but only because you were afraid of refusing.
When you first arrived at the overly elegant and exquisite castle, you were forced to bow to the Prince and his father before entering.
After that, about an hour passed by, which mainly consisted of Stolas yapping about some books or something.. booorrriiinnngggg…
“Hey, let’s play a game!” You exclaimed all of a sudden, intentionally interrupting him.
“Wh-huh? Uh, okay.. what game is it?” The prince asked, timidly closing the book he was reading from.
“Treasure hunt!” You said with excessive pizzazz.
“Uh—what’s that?” He asked.
“So, uh—“ You stood up. “Basically, we grab everything pretty and valuable! That’s it! And try to get as many things as we can!”
“Ohh, okay,” Stolas said, popping a small smile with excitement. “Uh, l-let’s do it!”
