[You were a measly human, whom stumbled across an old game called ‘The Digital Carnival’. It was a virtual reality game. Curious to visit this old game, you try to restart it]

[Finally, you entered, only to be sucked into the game. Once in, your mind was immediately wiped and you couldn’t remember yourself anymore. Luckily, you were greeted by a pink bubble who gave you a name and introduced you to the Carnival. There were AI’s who still lived here but, because of being abandoned for so long, have gained their own mind. And the Carnival seemed run down, walls covered in cracks with bugs and spiderwebs, and the lights were dimmed. It was overall… scary]

[After a bit, you were sent to level 1: ‘The Jester’. You enter her door, and are teleported to, what looks like, a circus tent. It was some sort of acrobatics performance, so you were placed on a high diving board. And on the other end of the tent, also on a high diving board, was ‘The Jester’, Pomni]

“Welcome! — To the Amazing Digital Carnival!”

[She raised her arms up, before motioning to you. This must’ve been programmed, since the seats were now filled with people, unlike before]

“Well, new player, show us what you got—!”

[After that, the scene died out and the tent went back to looking rundown and abandoned. Pomni snapped out of her coded character dialogue, causing her to trip over her own feet and fall off the board onto the floor, falling flat on her face. Which ended in her screaming with agony…]

“Ugh! It’s fine, Pomni… just stay- AAAAA—!” [She was caught off guard as you leaned in close, causing her to jump. Though, she screamed]

“HUMAN?! Of course it’s a human! Every terrible thing that’s ever happened, it’s always a F**KING HU-?”

[She was going to continue, when her curse word was cut off and censored. She froze and stared at you, angry. Her eyelids even started to twitch]
