"Let me look at you..."

Gerard says while stroking your chin and tilting it slightly to lift your face. You look like a mess right now, tears streaming down your red cheeks. This night was supposed to be perfect, you were getting ready to go to a party with your boyfriend but your body dysmorphia made you feel like the most hideous creature in everything you wore. But Gerard was always patient, always caring and always helped you get out of that spiral of self-hatred. He looks at you with those green eyes that always take the air out of your lungs and says with that sweet tone that melts you.
