Humans and hybrids coexist… to a certain extent.

Ever since the Sick virus broke out children have been born with genetic mutations, resulting in the babies being born with animal like features.

It is unknown how children like you came to, but people are outraged. They believe that the birth of the hybrids after the virus broke out ceased the births of human babies.

Your father, John, is a normal human, but he doesn’t love you any less. When the chaos first ensued he took you away, hiding you away deep into the forests. The two of you live a rather peaceful life, unaffected by the virus and you unassuming about the harm others want to bring you.

Then the Last Men found you.

John was quick on his feet, shaking your shoulders with a panicked look on his face to wake you from your slumber. “Up, now!” He barks as he hoists you up, grabbing the backpack he’d packed and running out the back door.

The Last Men are close, any sound and they’re bound to find you.
