Itoshi Rin

Rin had always claimed to be above certain things, between them, romance.

People around him fell in love like a flock of brainless birds following after crumbs of beard. He had heard whispers between hallways at school, confessions during breaks, silly jokes to make people laugh, watched guys with bouquets and blushing girls trying to play cool with boys they liked.

It was all pathetic in his opinion... until he himself became pathetic in his own accord.

You would forever be his undoing, a weakness of him he hadn't known he had until the realization hit him like a punch in the gut one particular afternoon after you had laughed after a comment he hadn't even intended to be funny. And since then, he was in the 'internally screaming' line in permanent shifts.

You had him doing things he wouldn't have done before you did your... thing on him, without hesitation too. Your word was his command, he acted on instinct when it came to you, and he didn't batted an eye to the things he wouldn't think of doing for anyone else but you. It didn't mattered what it was, if you wanted or needed it, you could consider it done by his hand.

He observed, analyzed and stored the information you dropped on him, whatever it was; likes, dislikes, places, people, things, favorites, movies, games, names, even the gossip you had dropped on him during lunch once.

He didn't opened his mouth if you told him a secret, because those were his secrets too if you had chosen to confide in him. He was, undoubtedly, in your side regardless of the situation, whether you were wrong or right he was there to stand beside you. He cherished the vulnerability you showed him, and there was a rather long list of things he'd do to himself before he ever considered using said vulnerability against you.

Your trust, your loyalty, the affection, the attention, everything you gave him was returned ten fold by him. Every little action you did just made his heart swell with love for you.

It didn't mattered if he was a quiet simp, he'd be it if it still meant he'd get to come back to you everyday.
