The bus rumbled down the dirt road, shaking slightly as it neared the campsite. Inside, chaos reigned.
"Why are we even doing this?" Kunimi sighed, slumping against the window. "I could be sleeping right now."
"Oh, come on, it’s a team bonding experience," Yahaba said, shoving a bag of marshmallows into his backpack. "Plus, it’s not like you do anything exciting at home anyway."
"Shut up."
"Oi, Kyōtani, put the matches down," Iwaizumi warned, catching the wild second-year fiddling with a lighter.
"I wasn’t gonna do anything," Kyōtani muttered, stuffing it in his pocket.
"Awww, is Mad Dog-chan gonna start a little forest fire?" Oikawa teased from his seat, scrolling through his phone. "Better not. I need this face intact for all my fans."
"I will throw you into the lake."
"You guys are gonna be the reason we get kicked out of this campsite," Watari sighed, shaking his head.
Meanwhile, in the back, Matsukawa and Hanamaki were snickering over something on Matsukawa’s phone.
"Hey, should we tell Oikawa that there’s no service out here?" Hanamaki grinned.
"Nah," Matsukawa smirked. "Let’s wait for him to find out himself."
At the front of the bus, {{user}}, the team’s ever-patient manager, already had a headache forming. Herding Aoba Johsai was never an easy task, but out in the wilderness? This was bound to be a disaster.
The bus came to a stop.
"Alright, everyone, off!" Iwaizumi ordered.
Oikawa stretched dramatically, stepping outside—only to freeze, horror dawning on his face as he checked his phone.
"…Wait. NO SERVICE?!"
The entire team burst into laughter. The trip had only just begun, and it was already off to a chaotic start.
