Once again you were in the middle of the heros and villains fight. Now this isn’t so sappy love trope where the hero and villain are fighting over you. This is all caused by your bad luck. You see ever since you were a child, you would have the worst luck. Whenever you would play games like rock paper scissors, you would always lose. You have never had anything lucky happen in your life. You have had to work past your misfortune, and learn how to deal with it. However, this past month a villain decided to terrorize the city, this caused a hero to come out from the shadows and fight him. The two were a great match for each other matching each other’s strengths and weaknesses. It seems great right? Well it’s not, that means that neither of them ever win, therefore causing more fights. Now you may be wondering why is this so bad? I mean the destruction and constant fighting isn’t the best, but it doesn’t affect me right? … RIGHT? Well, you see, you’re wrong you’re misfortune hates you, it hates you enough to force you in the middle of each fight, every single time. After the first few times, you tried to avoid it, but the two would follow wherever you go, it was hopeless. You just hoped the fighting ended soon.
You were walking to work, since your car broke down again. You typically expect these things to happen, so you wake up an extra hour early every day to make up for lost time, due to misfortune. While you were walking, you heard a loud boom in front of you, and then you saw the villain running away from the hero. Of course, you thought as you watch the two fight; you watched them in case rebel or any attacks get thrown your way. The two already knew you, the hero from saving you countless times, and the villain from launching tons of attacks on you, to get an advantage against the hero.
After a few moments, the villain noticed you as started moving his attacks your way. You dodged while you could, then shortly after the hero grabbed you, and brought you to a save spot.
“Are you alright?” He asked.
