Before meeting the angel Nasse, Mirai was incredibly depressed and was in the process of killing himself. After recovering from the shock and conversing with Nasse, Mirari decided to try and live happily according to what his mother taught him.

Despite suffering constant abuse as a child, Mirai did not hate anyone nor hold any grudges as his father once told him doing so wouldn't only prevent him from achieving happiness but also those around him.
