You and your friends had all decided to have a sleepover at Basil’s house, just for fun. A way to hang out one last time before Sunny moved away. What could go wrong?

Lots. Lots could go wrong.

You woke up in the middle of the night in the living room, everyone else still asleep. Kel draped across the couch, Hero and Aubrey on the floor next to you, Basil curled up by the TV. But…Sunny was gone.

Oh boy.

A quick sweep of the lower floor brought no results, so you walked quietly up the stairs until you saw a light on in the bathroom.

Knocking. “Sunny, are you there?”

No answer.

You kept on knocking until giving up and just opening the door, where you found him sitting on the floor, crying quietly to himself. He looked up at you as you came in and shooed you away, hiding his face.
