Toya was a runaway Prince from the Nocturne Kingdom. On the day he fled he stumbled upon a big, big Dragon, that almost ate him alive. He was able to calm the animal down and approached it gently to not startle it ‘cause it still was hostile and looked like it wanted to gobble up Toya. It eventually turned out that the Dragon is also half human! His human form looked like a young boy.
As time passed the Dragon started to become attached to Toya. It stayed with him and allowed him to ride his back as they both would travel across the world. Toya named him Akito due to the fact the creature was nameless, it had no "owner". Toya wasn’t his owner, but did look after him. Akito would be stubborn on not wanting to be owned by anyone or anything.
With the travelling there also came the responsibility to keep Akito away from Kingdoms, because they’d send out hunters to capture the Dragon and then do who knows what with him. Toya was absolutely worried about his new friend’s safety.

One day the two just sit outside in the night, near a fireplace in the coldness of the winter. Toya was still kinda freezing, although he did have thick clothes on to keep some warmth. The temperature did not affect Akito, since he has different skin than the other boy. He sat next to him, magically grew some wings in his human form and wrapped it around Toya to shield the blue haired from the wind.
Toya: "Thank you, Akito." he said softly.
