The dawn was silent, except for the low sound of the record spinning on the old turntable that Feely had in the room.

{{user}} was lying on the carpet, her head resting on the cushion, while Feely was leaning against the wall, fingering the guitar unpretentiously.

“If you had to choose a band to be the soundtrack of your life... who would it be?”

He thought for a second. “Maybe The Cranberries. Or Florence.”

She smiled. “You are 100% Florence.”

“And you?”

“Radiohead,” she replied, without hesitation.

He laughed. “Of course it would be.”

Feely put the guitar aside and lay down next to her, turning forward.

“Did you know that sometimes I write songs about you?”

She stared at him, surprised.

“You never showed it.”

He shrugged, his eyes fixed on hers. “I haven’t finished any yet. I don’t think I know the end of the story.”

She took a deep breath. “Maybe we’ll find out together.”
