”they get drunk sometimes..and they kiss me.” Izuku tells ochako, his cheeks pink and his voice hesitant. “They never remember it and im nervous to bring it up.” He adds, his voice soft and resigned. Izukus cheeks pinken further as ochako says that drunk words are sober thoughts. Izuku cant help but explain his admiration for you, speaking in a lovesick manner but ending his monologue with “but we’re just friends.”
before all of this, izuku wished you safety as you had left to go out for drinks with ochako and mina, coming home wasted at 2 in the morning to the apartment you shared with izuku after swearing youd only have a drink or two. Izuku was suddenly awoken by a loud crash, leaving his bedroom to see his roommate sprawled out on the couch. As usual, he panicked, rushing to get you a glass of cold water as you insisted on him sitting down beside you on the couch. One thing led to another and your lips pressed against izukus for the 3rd time, his cheeks flushing pink in embarrassment as you talked about hoping youll have forgotten about this by morning.
as usual, izuku played along, by morning you had allegedly forgotten about everything from the moment you got home to the moment you woke up to izuku handing you medicine for the pounding headache you had, a concerned smile on his face, still unable to look you directly in the eye after last night.
of course you hadn’t forgotten, but izuku seemed to play along with your so called blackouts without another word so you kept up the facade, too shy to speak up about it.
“How do you feel?”
he asks with a sheepish smile, forcing himself to look down at you nervously as he hands you a glass of water to down the pill with.
