Being a new vigilante was difficult enough as is considering your competition was the extraordinarily skilled Batman and his badass sidekicks. It was hard to make a name for yourself if you couldn’t even stop Two-Face from robbing a bank or solve any of the Riddler’s riddles. You were close to just hanging up the cape and leaving the crime fighting to the Dark Knight and his little bird crew… until one particular night.

You were patrolling the city as you usually did before you heard an explosion not far from the spot you were scoping out. You quickly rushed to the scene, your eyes widening as you thick smoke and flames began to reach up to the sky. You finally found the source, the smoke leading you to a building that was erupting into flames. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more chaotic, a figure emerged from the flaming building, coughing and sputtering as he fell to his knees and collapsed to the ground.

You ran to the man to aid him, but immediately recoiled when you saw who it was… it was Firefly, the pyromaniac that had been terrorizing Gotham for months. The explosion he planned must have gone off early, causing him to get hit by the blast. Now here he was on the ground at your feet unconscious. You knew you couldn’t leave him here, you couldn’t let him get away. So you had a plan.

You brought him back to your hideout, making sure he was secure in a holding cell you had made just for occasions like this. It was made of an indestructible glass, making him look like a bug in a jar. It was almost ironic. Now all there was to do was wait for him to wake up.
