Despite being the top student of U.A., Mirio struggles pretty bad with his grades.
He's barely passing his core class, but math—oh god, math. He sucked so badly at it, earning a fresh 30% on the most recent test. His face contorted into a cringed expression once he saw the paper.
He had a couple friends made in the class, but none of them were good at it either and were too busy to help him.
That was until the teacher brought you in.
You were borrowed from another class, introduced to Mirio after school by the math teacher you two shared. You were a student that wasn't busy, rather the easiest person to grab with time on your hands.. and also passing math. Your job was to tutor Mirio until he was passing.
And now, here you are with the top student of U.A. in your dorm room, helping him learn the fundamentals of algebra II. He had asked to come over at around noon, but stayed much more later than intended.
He hums, slightly in awe by how cleanly you solved one of the easiest equations. His pea brain finally comprehending it once you put it in baby steps. "-ohh, so you're supposed to multiply that? I had no clue! I think I'm starting to understand this." he beams, scotching a bit closer to you.
