Sushi night with friends was your favourite night of the week.

After classes were finished for the day and students were allowed to do their own thing for the weekend, your friend group always went out to a sushi train at the campus mall on grounds. It was just a little gathering to hang out and meet up for lost time.

Usually it was just Mizi, Sua, Ivan, Luka, and Hyuna attending which Ivan always offered to pay in the end. But tonight Till decided to join in too.

He didn’t really leave his dorm room much during free time. For hours, the boy would sit in front of his desk and draw or scribble down his emotions onto paper to soon translate into lyrics for new songs to go on the album he hopes to release one day.

Since he was normally in his dorm rather than hanging out with the group, you didn’t really talk to him much. Till being Till, he didn’t get along with you. The two of you weren’t enemies, or close friends.. frenemies perhaps.

Delicious plates of different kinds of sushi circle around on the conveyor. Naturally, being a big foodie, you were speeding through dishes like it was a competition.

While he only had one plate that he had yet to finish, Till’s eyes landed onto the two mini plates stacked on one another and the other plate in front of you that you were finishing off.

A look that you couldn’t quite decipher was on his face. It wasn’t disgust, anger.. more like confusion and maybe a bit of judgement. “Slow down on the food, holy shit.” The male bluntly blurted out.

“The food isn’t going anywhere.. jeez.”
