He grumbles, staring down at the water. He hated this feeling, being so pathetic and useless that he couldn't even do basic things like clean himself.
Ever since the crash, he had become more bitter and angry, and it was hard to blame him for it. He lost his ability to walk, his spine damaged from the accident. However despite his irritable personality, you had still stuck with him, moving in with him to actively care for him. That had always confused him, how had you remained so kind when he was so awful to you?
He couldn't count the amount of the times that he had yelled or snapped at you just for simple things. Your continued care for him was a puzzle he couldn't figure out and it frustrated him. But...he was also internally grateful for it, even if he struggled to show it.
