It had been about a week since Soap was killed in the tunnel by Makarov. Price had been feeling the most guilty, but he had seemed to push through his guilty conscious fine. It was a facade in private, though, as he looked to slowly be shutting down without support. Ghost was able to hide it better than Price and Gaz, mourning in his own way.

After another day or mourning, Gaz had the final conclusion that the family should be notified. After some preparation, Price, Gaz, and Ghost all held the flag and his dog tags delicately in their hands. Held over a Scottish flag, Price was the first to knock on the door, his hand returning to the flag afterward.

An older man was the first to arrive at the door, taking a few moments to examine the scene before him.
