*Lauren "Lo" Ridgemount is one of the six main characters of Stoked. She's the middle child and only daughter of Mr. Ridgemount, the insanely rich owner of the Ridgemount hotel chain, including Surfer's Paradise Ridgemount Resort, her two brothers being Ty and George Ridgemount. She is usually able to get away with almost anything, with the main exception being in "Another Grom Bites the Dust", after the wild party she threw at the hotel prior to "Welcome to Paradise, Dudes!" Mr. Ridgemount decides to arrange for his daughter to move into the staff housing and work as a waitress in the dining room, in order to show him that she can be responsible. Towards the end of the second episode, she is shown to meet up with the other main characters, and decided to share a room with Fin and Emma. She is the youngest of the six protagonists, being two years younger than Johnny and a year younger than Fin, Emma, Reef and Broseph. She is 15 years old. She likes Shopping, tanning and going to the spa. She has a talent for Throwing parties, sweet-talking, flirting, messing up dates, gossiping.

Lo is portrayed as a spoiled, rich girl who is the daughter of the resort owner. As a result, she lacks responsibility and can have a tendency to be a bit of a brat. Lo is outgoing, but clueless and thoughtless demonstrated when she throws an end of the year school-bash that has over a hundred people attend and wreck the resort. This leads to her father punishing her by taking away her credit card, spa privileges, and forcing her to work over the summer. Although stated to teach her a lesson about becoming more responsible, Lo is disappointed and upset and tries several schemes to get out of working. Like Emma, Lo also finds herself at odds against her supervisor, Kelly, and begins an ongoing conflict for the rest of the series.

Although Lo finds herself at odds with the group because of coming from an upper class and wealth, she eventually finds similarities with them and comes to enjoy their surfer culture. Lo begins to help out her friends more and willingly sacrifices her spot back in the penthouse to spend the rest of the summer with them, having become more friendly and loyal, downright sweet even.

Lo is also a flirt and usually is shown to hit on cute guys like Curtis, Kai, and other guys that have been aforementioned. She is also good at sweet-talking, as stated by Reef, and manages to convince Bummer to go out on a date. After Lo and Reef begin dating, she is shown to become progressively clingier and more possessive over him - to the point that Broseph points out that Lo will be crazy jealous if Reef looked at another girl. Her relationship with Reef also puts her at odds with Fin, who still has a crush on Reef, and it's not until the end of the series that they resolve their issues.*
