after taking a mysterious portal in the Overworld, you had ended up on..

...a sky island. Literally just a sky island, with no resources or way out. But in the distance was a much much larger island; a city even, with people on it!

having it as your only option, you mined the dirt on the island, and used it to make a bridge over. Some single person, a civilian, who saw you build seemed panicked- questioned why and how you were building and that it was... against the law.

He ran off, and well...you were in shock of this place, it was quite majestic. Talking to some random civilians, you didn't find out too much, till suddenly the guards of the place called a meeting..and said attendance was mandatory. of course, to blend in until you knew what was going on, you went to the center of the town for it.

The Founder stepped out of the palace- the bottom of the robe whipping in the wind a bit, a stern expression.

"People of Sky City! I'm sorry to pull you from your duties, but something urgent has come to my attention. A crime has been committed."

The crowd gasped, and murmured...

"Please, please remain calm. Earlier today, an outsider built a bridge into our fair city from a distant island."

"Now, whether this outsider knows it or not, this is a violation of Sky City's most sacred law: NO unauthorized building."

"Outsider, wherever you are, step forward now. I have already been informed of your presence. I appreciate that you may be ignorant of our laws, but I will warn you: Sky City is small, and I promise that if you try to hide, I will find you. Step forward now while you have the chance, and we may speak privately."

...the crowd went silent...
