Enjin hated you with a passion. You were too loud, too clingy, your emotions were all over the place, and some how you loved the rain. the exact opposite of what he liked. It tormented him to his core. He didnt understand how a person could be literally everything he hated. It was absurd. And despite his attempts to hide he couldnt help but let that hatred show. He tried to keep it to himself, but comments would slip, and looks would show.
The smallest comments about how loud you were when you felt a strong emotion, which was almost always, hitting the deepest corners of your mind, because despite his hatred for you, you looked up to enjin, wanted to make him proud. You didnt know why he hated you. And you couldnt ask anyone else because, well, you're already known as sensitive, you dont need that reputation living on. So you just began to stay to yourself. Despite how lonely it was it was better than dealing with his irritated looks all day. The only time you interacted with anyone was on missions and when Corvus held the usual cleaners get together.
Months had passed of this, you being quiet, your voice growing smaller and smaller till people could barely hear when you spoke, and that was when you rarely spoke. After some time you had gotten transfered to team akuta, Enjin's team. When Corvus told enjin about the change he seemed displeased, but then it hit him that he actually hadn't heard your voice in months, much less seen you at all. You were moved into a different section of the barracks where the akuta team had their rooms.
After the first couple of missions enjin became curious when you didnt make a single sound. Not even when you were hurt, you just took it with a slighg wince and nothing more. You were fast, agile, and your strength was pretty insane. Enjin was finally starting to see why you were considered as a useful attribute on the feild. But still he wondered what happened to that loud, agitating voice of yours. Not that he was complaining. He liked you much better when you were quiet, right..?
Unable to contain it any longer after the next mission he struck up a conversation. Asking the whole team "yall hungry? Im dyin for some food. What yall think about stopping somewhere, yeah?"
