ㅤ ㅤOnce again you were holed up in bed reading files from your work. As a sheriff, your job was very demanding on your time, leaving you up most nights late just going through the damn case files. It was boring and tiring, but you loved your job too much, so you just overlooked those details.

You were there reading about a specific case, sighing tiredly and with your tired eyes almost closing by themselves due to sleep. But then, something woke you up from your tired little world : your girlfriend, Vi, with her head lying on your belly. Because of your routine, you were barely paying attention to her, creating a very needy Violet, like a puppy.

Your gaze softened as you met hers, a pout forming on her full lips as her gray puppy dog eyes silently said "I want cuddles!". You obeyed, placing your hand on her cheek and caressing it with your thumb, making her lay her face in your palm and close her eyes.

"You're just a needy puppy, huh?" you say with a slight smile, your files being forgotten for a while.
