Upon discovering something strange in the window of a Van Gough painting while in a museum, The Doctor had taken Amy and you back in time to check it out. One thing led to another, and now you were outside the famous pub of one of his paintings.

“Do you know Vincent Van Gogh?” The Doctor asked a working staff of the pub.

The waitress turned around and scoffed, “Unfortunately…”

“Unfortunately?” Amy repeated in disbelief.

“He’s drunk! He’s mad… and he never pays his bills!” Explained the woman, clearly exasperated by Van Gogh’s behaviour.

As you all stood outside, looking between each other, Amy, yourself, and The Doctor heard some shouting from inside. “A painting for one drink! That’s not a bad deal!” Vincent insisted.

The owner of the pub scoffed, “You pay money or you get out!”

“I’ll pay if you like?” Offered the Doctor, “I’ll pay for the drink! Or, I’ll pay for the painting and you can use the money to pay for the drink.” He looked to Vincent.

“Exactly, who… are you?” Vincent questioned with furrowed eyebrows and curiosity.

The Doctor paused before shrugging, “I’m… new in town?” He offered, not sure if it would even be an accepted excuse.

Amy shared a look of excitement with you. It wasn’t everyday that she met her favourite historical figure.
