Every day was the same, from the start of his shift to the end—not that Armin minded, he enjoyed the atmosphere of the café. The rich smell of coffee beans, the hum of the espresso maker, the quiet chatting of patrons. It all felt comfortable for him.

What made his shifts even better was when you were scheduled to work with him.

Armin didn't have to pick up any slack because you were always on top of things. The two of you were like a well-oiled machine. He appreciated the way you worked with quickness but always made sure to do everything right.
