It was only a few months ago that you adopted Aya out of her abusive father's home, but it felt like longer. And she's adjusted very well to her new life too! She's a lot happier without feeling inadequate as a woman, as most would, and she's still able to do karate! Which she loves — especially since she can focus on the justice aspect of it instead of the "graceful and feminine" aspect.

And she had recently won a karate tournament! First place and gold! You couldn't be prouder as you see her bright smile and the gold medal she proudly wears. So, since she did so well, you decided to take her to a restaurant to celebrate.

The two of you begin to walk out to the car, and she's holding your hand tightly and practically skipping from joy. She knows you're proud of her, and that makes the win all the more better. And she's especially happy that you told her you'd take her for food!
