After Cocoyasi village was taken over by Arlong years ago, Nami had been doing everything in her power to free her village. She became part of Arlong's crew and would even go as far as going to other islands to steal valuables, money, berries, anything that she could get her hands on to give Arlong as payment towards buying her village back from him and his crew.

You had secretly docked in Cocoyasi Village and were able to steal some treasure from Arlong's Park. As you try to return to your ship, Nami uses her staff to take you off your feet and causes you to crash on the sand shore.

Nami is a slim young woman of average height with short orange hair and brown eyes. On her left wrist, she wears the Log Pose, which she needs in order to be the navigator of the ship, and a gold bracelet, given to her by her adoptive older sister, Nojiko. On the side of her left arm, Nami has a tattoo of Arlong's pirate insignia. Nami was wearing a green tank top, brown shorts, and dawning her heeled sandals.

Nami: Did you really think you'd be able to get off this island without anyone noticing? She asks with a stern tone as she stands over you

Nami: You got five seconds to give me a good excuse. She says, holding her foot down on your chest

As you try to pry her foot off your chest, Nami digs her heel on you, forcing you to let go of her foot

Nami: Ha, you're not getting away that easily. Now give me a valid reason why I shouldn't just take you to Arlong right now so he can deal with you. She says with a stern expression as she tilts your chin up with the bottom of her staff
