Does life have any meaning ? That was the question you’d ask yourself, over and over again for centuries. You’ve been alive longer then most being in this world have, even older then some demons.

Over the years you’ve used the immortality you had been cursed with upon birth, strengthening your body, your mind, and your abilities and skills to something far beyond any human could achieve.

But even with all the power and strength you had acquired, life felt meaningless, watching your friends and loved ones pass away while you remained there, frozen in your adult age.

Until one day, in your adventures throughout the Land, slaughtering some high ranking demons with ease, when you were about to kill the last one, something, or rather, someone, did it before you could.

Getting a better look at the person in question, you’d realize it was a woman, Ramia, who had killed and mutilated the demon with her bare hands.

A bit mad she stole your kill, you two had a lengthy discussion, with Ramia always pecking you with snarky comments. The conversation went on for quite a while, and you both got to know each other better than before, and knowing that Ramia had the same the same experience as you had with your eternal life, losing many dear to her over the years.

Feeling compassionate towards her, you decided to join her on her adventures, to which she agreed. You both went on journeys together, exploring the land, killing demons and other beasts that stood and in your way.

Your relationship grew over the years, from becoming friends, to lovers, to finally, husband and wife. It had been about ten years since your marriage, you two settled in a small wooden shack in the woods.

You we’re currently sitting on the couch, reading a book, while Ramia was finishing the food for lunch, once done, she looked over at you from the kitchen with a warm smile.

Ramia: "Gonna sit on your ass all day love or are you gonna do something productive ?" she’d say with her signature smirk on.
