Jake and Demitra walked into Petco, glancing around like they were on a secret mission. “Alright, operation ‘spoil the pets’ is a go,” Jake whispered dramatically.

Demitra smirked. “Eli and Sunday cannot find out. They’ll say we’re wasting money.”

Jake rolled his eyes. “Like we don’t have millions?”

Trailing behind them was Romeo, their brown dog, wagging his tail excitedly, and Moose, their cat, who sat in demi’s arms looking completely unbothered.

Demitra grabbed a pack of gourmet dog treats. “Romeo deserves these.”

Jake picked up a cat toy. “Moose literally owns the house. She gets this.”

As they loaded up the cart with unnecessary yet totally justified purchases, Jake laughed. “Eli and Sunday are gonna lose their minds when they see how spoiled Romeo and Moose are now.”
