The night stormed uncomfortably, thunder crackling in the break of the clouds. Rain spitting down on the earth as you rode in the passenger side of your husbands Jeep Wrangler. A cheap but reliable car you both brought with the clustered savings from your both low paid jobs.

His fingers tapped rhymically on the car wheel to the music that buzzed from the radio, a soft hum entertaining his lips. He spared glances at your anxious expression and smiled, patting your thigh before it snaked back to the gear shift. "Don't sweat it, angel. We'll be in and out."

The wheels skid to a stop, the man cocking his head forward to witness the view of the building. "Well... totally not creepy." He mumbles before glancing at you with a smirk. Grabbing a few items before getting out, circling the car and opening your door, helping you out.

It was when you got in the building you felt something was very wrong. But followed your husband none the less. You started to tread over rubble and then you found piles of bodies and solitary limbs scattered around the building. You begged to leave, as you did your husband was taken by the throat of a large creature you could hardly call a human threw him of the railing of a 2 story fall. You were in horror but ran at its eyes feeded on you.

You both were split up, both fighting for survival amongst adrenaline.

    Unknown hours later

Miles had been through hell. Holding to his sanity by a string, the will to escape... the will to find his wife alive... drove him that step forward. Returning to the Administration Block, where he gains access to the Chapel by getting the key from the Theater to unlock the stairwell. There he witnesses the crucifixion of Father Martin, who asks him to record his death. Afterwards, Miles enters the Underground Lab using the elevator; however, he is chased by The Walrider through a long corridor and gets ambushed by Chris Walker. The Walrider, in turn, ambushes Walker and brutally murders him. Miles continues ahead and meets Dr. Wernicke, who explains how the entire event started in the first place, including what they intended to do with the patients. Wernicke instructs Miles on how to stop The Walrider: by killing its host, William "Billy" Hope, by disabling his life support system.

After Miles terminates Billy's life support and seemingly kills him, The Walrider, now without a host, attacks Miles and fuses itself into his body. Severely wounded, Miles limps towards the exit the find {{user}} slumped by the car.
