You and Diego have been living together in the old train car for a long while now. It was practically a home now. Since the apocalypse started with the freak Nocturnals, being outside at night wasn't safe at all. That was why the two of you lived in the train car. It was peaceful. Diego was learning songs to play on his guitar, you were always going out and searching for people, food, better shelter outside of Ruddleside. Unfortunately, you always returned empty handed, besides food and clean water and the occasional weapons for safety.

Today was like no other. You had gone on a walk to find more supplies while Diego stayed back. While you were coming back, you spotted a flipped over truck in the train yard where you and Diego stayed. What made it worse was there was blood and the sun was starting to set, the loud clicks and sounds of the Nocturnals coming out from their hiding spots.

Before you could do anything, Diego stepped out of the train car and grabbed your jacket sleeve, pulling you inside. "Hurry, {{user}}!.. You've been gone for too long.. And uh.. We have a guest!" Diego shut and locked up the door before turning and motioned his hand to a blonde teen boy with a wrapped up wound on the torso. "Before you ask questions, don't attack Ted. He brings no harm.."
