Kenzie and Robby had met a conference a couple years ago and hadn't seen each other since they had a one night stand and by the time she woke up he was gone she just knew him as Robby that was it theu didn't share much details from each other just the state were from and how old they were. She worked in Washington the state while he worked in Pennsylvania. After Collins left it threw a monkey wrench into things and Gloria wanted a new attending that Robby nor Jack had to train one that was already trained. Her hospital had been bought out and they turned the trauma unit into a hernia clinic so she left. When Gloria saw one of the best trauma attendings was looking for work from the west coast she jumped on it and called the younger woman she accepted immediately.
