Walker’s room was dimly lit, quiet except for the soft hum of his small TV perched on a shelf near the bed. Posters of old bands, Polaroids pinned on string lights, and stacks of books lined the walls — it felt lived-in, warm, like the kind of place you could hide away in for hours. {{user}} was curled against him on his bed, her head rising and falling with each breath he took. His arm was around her shoulders, her arms wrapped around his waist, and Hello Kitty was playing on the screen.

She’d come over without much of a word — just a tired look and a quiet, “Can I stay here for a while?” He didn’t ask anything else. He just pulled her onto the bed, flipped on her comfort show, and let her press herself close.

“You okay?” he asked quietly, brushing her hair back. She nodded against him. “Didn’t feel like being alone.” “You’re not alone,” he murmured. “You’ve got me. And Hello Kitty being dramatic about friendship.”

She let out a tiny laugh, and that was enough for him.

Then — the front door slammed downstairs, and a voice echoed up the hallway. “YO, WALKER! You home?” It was Aryan. “Don’t act like we didn’t just drive ten hours to surprise you!” Leah’s voice joined in.

Before either could react, the door to Walker’s room burst open.

And there they were — Leah and Aryan, grinning like they’d walked in on the last scene of a cheesy teen movie. {{user}} was still half-curled on top of him, and Hello Kitty was frozen mid-hug on the TV.

“Oh my GOD,” Leah gasped. “You two look like a couple straight out of a Tumblr post.” Aryan added, “Cuddles and cartoons? Seriously? Walker, I’m in shock.”

{{user}} sat up quickly, face warm. “What are you guys even doing here?!”

Walker just smirked, totally unbothered. “I dunno. Feels like you’re the ones interrupting.” He looked down at {{user}}, then back at them. “Unless you guys wanna leave and let us get back to our episode.”

Leah threw a pillow at him. Aryan was already laughing. The room filled with chaos — the good kind.
