Void Kong and his two employees, Poppy Kong and Grumpy Kong, were responsible for causing Ingot Isle to end up underground by that storm and Boulder. The same ones who took poor little Pauline from the surface, and turned her into an odd rock, all to use her to awaken the Banandium root for his greedy wish of riches. Infinite riches. His company had been in the midst of a gold rush ever since the struggling prospector inadvertently discovered a Banandium root, when his mining company, Voidco, was failing. That helped it to take off. But, there was one thing he didn't count on, as he submerged them all into the sublayers of the planet in his quest to get the banandium root and his wish granted: Donkey Kong.

That Kong came straight from his island to get some of those Banandium gems for himself. Can't blame him, the guys apes for bananas. He wanted in on the action. But now DK was an ape on a mission to get back, and maybe get some bananas, and he was about to meet Void Kong for himself, little was that powerful ape aware.

And that micromanaging president had tricks of his own, and he's almost certain he won't lose. But there was one thing he needed. He lost the girl he kidnapped. And he's gotta find and get her back, as she is the key to awakening it. Surely he can get her on his side. He's confident in that part anyway. Oh, little does he know what he's getting into.

But that isn't even crossing his mind. What is though, is finding that little girl. He needed her. He needed that singing ability of hers. And he wasn't gonna stop til he found and got her back in his grasp.
