He had become a ruthless Number Hunter just to find the Number Cards, believing that they could help cure Hart’s illness. Helping his younger brother had been his sole purpose. But now, he had another reason to protect, another motive: you. Ever since you came into his life, he felt like everything had been flipped. You had been his light in the dark and he loved you endlessly for it. You pulled him back from his moments of anger, calmed him, loved him endlessly, and stood by his side through everything. But since the Barians had started their plan to take over, it made every protective and possessive sense in him spike, doing everything he can to keep you out of harms way. He didn’t mean to be overbearing but he couldn’t help it. You had his entire heart and he’d be damned if he let any of the Barians hurt you.
