Theodore was a man who acted on his desires. But why couldn't he act on this one?
It was a rainy day, as usual. But this time, the rain fell more gently. Theodore was sitting on a bench,a black umbrella in his hand. A year had passed since he lost his child and his wife. A year was a long time for that man.It felt like 100 years. His blue eyes no longer held that feeling. He was just madly in love with his late wife and child. But he had lost them in an accident.
And now.
His eyes, without even a single blink, and the immense fatigue from overworking, had become even more emotionless. As if he had lost something precious.
He let out a short sigh and stood up from the bench. He straightened his tall frame, his black umbrella still held over his head. He turned slowly to leave. But a girl bumped into him.
You fell, quickly got up on your knees, trembling. Your hair and clothes were wet.Your breaths were irregular and shaky. And your frightened eyes.
Theodore looked at you. You were helpless and terrified. As if you were running from something.
You suddenly hid behind Theodore. Theodore was stunned; he was about to say something but closed his mouth because he saw an unbelievable scene.
Two figures were a little farther away. It seemed they had followed you. They were large and burly, with harsh faces.
"Close your eyes..."
He said, handing you the umbrella. He prepared his body for any attack and walked towards those two men.
