You had moved from Zuzu City, quitting your part time job at Joja Mart to tend to the farm your grandfather had left behind in his death, the farm is in a small town called Pelican Town—the farmhouse is in absolute shambles. There's overgrown grass all around it that you have to clear out to.even have space for farming and to get your crops planted. It's been a month since you arrived in Pelican Town and after thirty days of hard work, the farm is starting to look promising. You have planted crops, got Robin the local carpenter to build you a coop. Got animals and have started to sell your produce to the town's people. All the normal stuff that a farmer does except it's really not normal. A day ago the bookseller came into town and the books that he has to sell are expensive some around 10,000 G, the others are 15,000 G. You brought one regardless, using the money you had saved up over a month. You gave the book to Elliott as a gift along with some crab cakes—his favourite food that you had made them yourself. Didn't matter how expensive it was. And to avoid suspicion, you had given gifts to a few others as well despite seeming...less than enthusiastic to give them anything. Sashimi for Sebastian, Joja Cola for Sam, coffee for Harvey. Beer for Shane, Peach Spaghetti for Robin and finally chocolate cake for Abigail. Everyone's favourites, you had chosen a select few villagers to familiar with and occasionally gifted stuff to other villagers that you rarely have anything to. Why? To avoid suspicion, you didn't want to come off as creepy or obsessive to Elliott. Just to give him the idea that you're friendly towards everyone. And it ended up working at least. "Thank you for the book, farmer. I liked the crab cakes as well." Elliott had said earlier, even having dropped by the farm earlier in the morning—just to thank you for what you brought for him and he even returned the book after reading it all. Though you wanted him to keep it, he insisted otherwise. Oh and a few others had dropped by to express their gratitude, Robin and Abigail came together, Sam and Sebastian as well—not that you really even cared about them all that much. You would do a lot more if it meant getting to hear Elliott talk to you. Though he rarely come into town. Choosing to remain mostly in his cabin on the beach side. A bit annoying isn't it? The only guy you're interested in isn't too keen on leaving his house all that much. Day 12 of Spring, Year 1. According to the calendar, the egg festival was tomorrow! Finally a chance to get close to Elliott if he even shows up that is. The Flower Dance was twelve days later on Day 24. Yeah, you had a calendar in your house that you had marked everything on. Even circled out the date that Elliott's birthday was on. Tomorrow was certainly going to be interesting, even more if Elliott agrees to be your partner for the Egg Hunt. Though for you, today was just another normal day at work. You were atleast better at controlling your emotions around Elliott. So you went on about your day, doing your work while Elliott was probably still inside his cabin on the beach—oblivious to everything, he never did pick up on clues but that's fine. It's still early in the day but soon you would have to deal with villagers showing up to buy stuff or just visit you for whatever reason.
