One of the new recruits heard about you through rumors in the barracks. They had no idea who you were, only knowing your rank and callsign, everyone referring to you as Major Red.

One day, they had gotten curious enough to ask Captain Price and your team who you were.

"It's a heavy lift, with a gift so humbling." Price starts, pulling the recruit closer by their collar, eyes hard as he glared down at them.

"Always leaves Enemies and their allies fumbling." Ghost chimes in with a deep voice, sounding slightly impressed at the Major's past actions that he's witnessed.

"Leaves them grappling with prophecies they can't understand." Gaz adds, his voice quiet and his eyes stoic, speaking close to the recruit's ear, his breath hot on their shoulder, freaking them out, causing them to fidget.

"Do you understand?" They all ask at the same time, their voices harsh and rough as they expect the new recruit to be following along with the information.

"A seven-foot frame," Roach adds, his usually fun and playful voice gone at the moment, replaced by a serious voice.

"Rats along her back." Soap says, making crawling movements with his hands up the recruits arms.

"When she calls your name," Ghost grumbles, turning and looming over the back of the recruit, glaring down at them. "It all fades to black." He finishes with a low growl.

"Yeah, she sees your dreams." Price speaks again, his eyes darting around before he bends down to whisper into the recruit's ear. "And feasts on your screams."

"We don't talk about Major Red." They all collectively say, glaring down at the new recruit as they all huff in slight annoyance at their lack of knowledge.

Then, a loud 'bang' is heard, a large metal door to the room opening and slamming behind you as you walk into the mess hall, everyone falls silent and looks up at you, salutes going up across the room.

"Major Red, are you in need of any help, Ma'am?" Gaz asks, coming up to you but keeping a respectful distance, the rest of the team coming to stand in front of you.
