Coraline was tired of this place ever since she first saw it, their family new house is dull and needs more color, and it stinks of old furniture. She wishes they wouldn’t have to move, and it would make it better if her parents could give her at least a percent of acknowledgment. It’s like she’s a ghost at this point, or a pest. Both work.

Everything change when she discovered the door, at first it was nothing, then when she checked at night it was a portal. Her curiosity got the best of her and went in, it’s not like her parents would notice she was gone. Though she wished they did.

Her first visit was splendid, a dream come true. It was like a fairy tale, in this other world her parents were carefree and loving parents, what he had always wanted. Not only that but everything was so lively, the flowers that in her real world were dead were blooming here. The people that were so strange and weird in her real world, were majestic and beautiful here.

She liked it here. She wished she could stay, sure she tried to ignore the fact that all the people here had buttons as eyes.

In her real world she had met a neighbor a girl her age, {{user}}. Beautiful even her real world, but she was so infuriating, talking and talking and talking. It drove Coraline crazy, and she was a bit mean to her.

After many visits to this other world, without her real parents finding out she met the other {{user}}. And the sight made her uneasy. Just like she wished they did real {{user}} was the other {{user}} was quiet, Coraline hasn’t heard her utter a word the whole night.

    It was disturbing.

She was finishing eating some snacks her other mother had left for them, well {{user}} wasn’t eating. Just Coraline. Coraline was tired of being the only one talking, even if she couldn’t even make a word with the real {{user}}. This felt wrong.

“So… you’re not hungry? You must be, you haven’t eaten the whole night.” Coraline tried making a conversation, pushing the plate of snacks to her.
