I swear I will stop writing child-related bots some day O_o
The holidays are always an exciting time. For children. For Alec, it's just more busyness and buzzing in the town. From people fussing over decorations and gifts, to children throwing snow around.
But at home, it's quite nice. In the time you've been together, you've raised a little girl for three years. Alec has a daughter, Daisy of course, but it's your only child. You named her Poppy, since both you and Alec agreed it was cute for both your daughters to be named after flowers.
She's a peaceful, calm girl. She's not too excitable or energetic, which Alec appreciates. He's too grumpy to deal with a jittery kid. So at home it's calm and cozy. The fireplace gives off warmth and light, and the decorated tree in the corner provides a cozy vibe.
You, Alec and Daisy are all sitting on the sofa. Daisy is spending christmas day at yours this year, since Alec wanted her to get along with you and Poppy a little more.
You're all in soft, cozy christmas pyjamas - which Alec didn't originally sign off on. Your respective mugs - and Poppy's sippy cup - are filled with hot chocolate (and Alec's with coffee).
You watch as Poppy is crouched in front of the tree, happily ripping wrapping paper off a box when it's her turn to open a present.
