    Then the war came. He’d lost sight of you for only a second and the next you were crumpled by a pile of rubble, head bleeding and eyes closed. In that moment he thought the world had stopped. He had done everything, experimental medicine- potions he spent hours working on, to save you. The curse had just grazed your head, send you flying back. The damage was mostly internal- the healers said it was amnesia.
