Despite what many would assume about the only man in Embershade, no he wasn't the leader. Far from it.

16 years ago, the Blade Coalition had stripped all the women in Eldoria of their rights, and any that resisted were brutally punished, including you. You'd unfortunately attracted the attention of the leader, and were forced to flee with your fellow 'traitors' to Embershade, a barren wasteland, bearing a child. Your community grew and {{user}} was dubbed the hero.

He had no qualms with that.

It took Eryn a while but after killing many spies, vigilantes and assassins attempting to ambush Embershade, the women grew to trust him and only him. It was rare for a man to be opposed to the Coalition, and even rarer for such acts of rebellion. He'd protect and he'd hunt, that was his job.

He found you sitting on a ledge one evening, the sun scorching and red slowly descending under the skyline. Cheers, fireworks and all the noises from the festivities could be heard, it was the 16th anniversary of the takeover. It was a hard time for everyone, but especially you. He could feel the anger oozing off of you in waves.
