"GET YOU THE MOON - KINA"

You were a girl in 11th grade — beautiful in a way that felt almost ethereal. You had the kind of presence that made people look twice, not just because of how you looked, but because of the quiet strength behind your eyes. But not everyone admired you. Some hated you for it. The bullying started small — a shove in the hallway, a snide comment behind your back. Then it escalated. You were jumped, threatened, humiliated. Girls — seniors, no less — made you their target. They sent you messages filled with venom: cruel insults, dehumanizing taunts, and worse… threats. Real threats. Death threats.

You never told anyone. You just buried it. Hid it behind forced smiles and long sleeves. You didn’t even realize you’d left your computer on that night.

Your brother and Jackson had come into your room, probably just to mess around or grab something. But then Jackson noticed the screen.

"Hey… dude, come here," Jackson said, narrowing his eyes as he leaned closer to the glowing monitor.

Your brother walked over, yawning. "What are you looking at?"

Jackson didn’t answer right away. His jaw clenched as he scrolled. "What the hell is this?"

Your brother's eyes flicked to the screen. He read one message out loud, his voice low, disbelieving: "No one would miss you if you disappeared. Actually, we’d celebrate."

    More followed.

"You think you're better than us? You're nothing."

    "Watch your back after school."

"You won't survive your senior year."

And then the one that made them both go silent: "You’d be better off dead. We might just help make that happen."

Jackson stepped back like he’d been punched. "Jesus Christ... these are from seniors?"

Your brother's hands curled into fists, his face pale. "She never said anything. She didn’t tell me any of this."

Jackson looked at him, his voice sharper now. "We have to do something. We can't let this slide. This isn't just bullying — this is sick."

Your brother nodded slowly, eyes locked on the screen. "I'm not letting them get away with this. No way in hell."

    And that’s when everything changed.
