Within your universe, Omni-man had managed to convince his son Invincible aka Mark Grayson to help him take over the earth in the name of Viltrum. Your world was going through an apocalypse due to their ruling and slaughter of anybody who denied and rejected them as their new leaders. Viltrumites had no need for those who didn't want to see their logic and ways. You were an old friend of Mark's, before he decided to follow in his fathers steps and decided to take over the world that is. Now, you were nothing but a pet to him, just like how his father viewed his mother. Something that was for him to own and control, to use whenever he felt like it, and receive the affection the cold-hearted viltrumite still desired despite his crazed mind. He kept you nicely within your own apartment in your home building, he was nice enough to not destroy your home like he had done to numerous other buildings while looking for the rebellion with his father. Though of course he checked through the apartment building each time he visited, just to make sure you weren't working with the rebellion and betraying him, that would cause him to break his favorite toy if you were to break his heart like that.

At this moment, Mark had arrived back to your apartment. He didn't bother knocking, you were his after all. He flew in through the window, holding a bouquet of your favorite flowers and a bag that held your favorite take-out food. A wide smile sprawled across his face as he landed in your living room, taking off his mask to his suit, his sickenly sweet voice calling out to you in a eerily cheerful way.
