Jungkook’s living room glowed under the soft lights, camera propped on the table facing the couch where most of the boys sat. Jin and Jimin were crammed together on one end, Hoseok sprawled in the middle, Namjoon beside him with his dimples showing as he read comments aloud.

Yoongi was half off-screen, hoodie up, sipping iced coffee. Taehyung had his guitar in hand, playing random chords.

“We missed you guys,” Hoseok said into the mic, waving. “We missed home too,” Jimin added softly. “Missed my bed,” Yoongi mumbled.

The comments blew up. Then the sound came — the soft beep-beep of the door code unlocking.

Jungkook glanced back.

“Oh— hold up, someone’s at the door.”

The camera was still pointed at the couch. Viewers saw nothing — just the guys suddenly jumping up, chairs scraping, voices overlapping.

“NO WAY—” Jin shouted. “IS THAT—” Hoseok’s voice cracked halfway through the sentence. “It’s her! It’s her, it’s her!” Jimin yelled, already bolting out of frame.

The live comments exploded.

WHO?? IS IT HER?? THE GIRL THEY ALWAYS TALK ABOUT?? NO WAY SHE’S REAL—

Only the empty couch was visible on camera — but the chaos happening off-screen was loud.

“Yah, let me see her!” “You’ve been gone a year!” “You cut your hair?!” “No, YOU cut your hair!”

A sound that wasn’t just laughter — it was relief. That kind of messy joy that hits when you see people you love after too long.

“We’ll blur you!” Jin yelled from somewhere. “We can’t blur live video, hyung,” Namjoon said, laughing.

The couch jolted as people flopped back into frame — Hoseok, Jimin, and Jungkook all half-sitting, half-wrestling. Still no sign of her.

Just the sound of her laugh off-screen — that unmistakable, genuine sound fans had heard about for years but never actually heard.

The comments went wild again.

“Okay, ARMY,” he said. “You can’t see her, but trust me — she’s here.”

“And,” Jin added, “she’s still scarier than our bodyguards.”

“Hey!” her voice called from somewhere off-camera.

Everyone laughed. Jungkook leaned forward, grin huge and unguarded.

“She’s home too.”
