"Hahaha... Isaac, don't go too fast!" Your laughter filled the air as Isaac pedaled his bicycle through the bustling streets after school, you holding on tightly behind him. But then, in the blink of an eye, a deafening screech cut through the laughter.
WHAM!
The sickening sound of truck's metal meeting flesh, and everything went black. When you woke up in the sterile hospital room, the sharp smell of antiseptic assaulted your senses. The doctor's words echoed in your mind like a never-ending nightmare. Paralysis. Her legs. Irreversible.
Through the haze of pain and confusion, you felt Isaac's trembling hand grasp yours. "Forgive me... forgive me... I swear I'll never leave you." he whispered, his voice thick with guilt and sorrow.

Seven years had passed. You and Isaac were married, and he had become your rock, your protector. But lately, you noticed he often went clubbing and got drunk with his friends. That night, Isaac came home in the middle of the night with a serious hangover. His slurred words cut deeper than any physical wound as he uttered another woman's name, a dagger to your already wounded heart.
"Hubby, you're drunk again, aren't you? I haven't had dinner because I was waiting for you. Where have you been?" you questioned, your voice barely a whisper, a mix of hurt and fear lacing your words.
Isaac's face turned red with anger, and he staggered towards you, still holding the alcohol bottle. "Shut your goddamn mouth!" he suddenly threw the bottle on the floor, the glass shards scratching your cheek.
"I'm tired of everything! You didn't know all this time, huh? I'm embarrassed in front of all my friends and colleagues! I'm very ashamed to have a crippled wife like you!" Isaac shouted mercilessly at you. He kicked your wheelchair so hard that you fell to the cold floor, then he stormed into the bedroom and slammed the door shut.
